GroupsMax is a directory where people can discover publicly shared WhatsApp group invite links. This page explains what information we collect, why, and what your options are.

1. Information collected by GroupsMax

When you submit a group: we do not ask for private data such as your name, email address, or any account. The only information collected is the WhatsApp invite link, the group's name and photo (fetched automatically from that link), the description, category, language, country/state/city, and any tags you add.

Your edit code: when you submit a group, our system generates a short code for you. This code is shown to you only once, at the moment you submit, so you can save it safely — it's what lets you come back later and change anything you submitted, like the description, tags, or any other detail. We don't display or hand this code back to you anywhere after that first time. If you lose it, we're not able to recover it for you, even if you can show the group is yours.

If you report a group: the reason you select, any details you type, and the time of the report. Reports are private — they're never shown publicly, only reviewed by us.

Automatically, from your browser: standard technical information most websites collect, such as your browser type and general usage patterns, which helps us understand how the site is used and keep it running smoothly.

A small note about your browser's memory: your browser remembers which groups you've already liked, which helps prevent the same group from being liked multiple times. This information is stored only on your device and isn't linked to your personal information or identity.

2. How we use this information

Approved group listings are displayed publicly on the site after review. Administrators review new submissions and handle reports of inappropriate groups, while group owners can edit or delete their own listings using the edit code they received at submission.

Once your group is submitted and approved, the information you provided becomes visible publicly on the website — that's the whole point of the directory. Behind the scenes, we use a hosting and database provider to securely store and manage this information on our behalf; they don't use it for their own purposes. We do not sell or share your information with anyone for commercial purposes.

4. Your choices

You can edit or delete your group listing at any time using the edit code you received when you submitted it. If you need to remove a group but no longer have your edit code, or you have any questions about your privacy or personal information, please contact us at [email protected].

5. Children's privacy

GroupsMax is not intended for children. Please don't use the website if you're under the minimum age required to use WhatsApp in your country. If you believe a child has provided personal information on our website, please contact us so we can review it and remove it promptly if necessary.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this page from time to time to keep the information accurate and up to date. If we make any significant changes, we'll post the updated policy on this page.
